Hola Everybody!
Super good week, the transfer happened on Wednesday. My new companion is named Elder Gunnell, he actually came out to the mission field with me. We got some good things happening in our area, including this lady whose boyfriend is a Less Active member, her name is LeAnn. We met them just since the transfer and she is on date for baptism and came to church yesterday. We also teach a ton of African American people, which is way legit. We had some of our African investigators at church as well. They are like straight from Africa and moved to the United States like within the past 2 years. But we actually don't get nearly as much time to work in our own area. We stay pretty busy doing Zone stuff too. But something cool my comp said is when we put our stewardship first, the Lord provides people for us to teach.
I am super stoked for this transfer, it's gunna be way good. Elder Gunnell's a funny dude, and we got a sick area. I love this work. That is, the work of saving the human soul. It has brought me more happiness than anything else and that's what it's all about, right? "...men are, that they might have joy." (2 Nephi 2:25). I love God and the Savior with all my heart and I am eternally grateful for my mission. I hope you all have a marvelous week! :)
Love, E. McGeezy

Hey Loved Ones :) Good Week!Amanda and Felicia are doing great! Felicia is going to be getting baptized this Saturday! And Amanda is getting married and then baptized next weekend. Super Awesome! But we found out that I am going to be transferred on Wednesday. I will be going to Bel Aire which is essentially just Wichita. I'm going to miss it here. But I'm excited to serve the missionaries and the people in the Bel Aire area. :)

Hey Amigos! Pretty solid week out here in Emporia. We met a ton of cool people this week. I absolutely love being in a college town, the diversity here is greater than any other area I've served in. Especially when we go knock and talk to people living in apartment complex's around the University. We meet college students from Turkey, China, Brazil, and so on. A few of them even became new investigators this week. I actually feel in a way like I'm fulfilling Christ's command to, "Go ye therefore, and teach ALL NATIONS, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost". (Matthew 28:19) hahaBut yeah, Felicia and Amanda are still progressing well. Unfortunately they didn't come to church, but we'll get 'em next week. We did have another investigator at church though who we found recently, named Daniel. He's a neat guy, doesn't know for sure if he believes in God, but that can change. On Saturday, the Sister's investigator named Ana got baptized! I had the privilege of interviewing her for baptism and she actually asked if I would baptize her too, so I did. I had given her several blessings before to help her give up smoking so I knew her pretty good before the interview. It was a great baptismal service though. But yeah, good things are happening here in Emporia. This is the last full week of the transfer, so we'll find out next week what the future holds. Love ya, and have a great week! :)-Elder McGee

Hello Family & Friends,It was a good week here in the Heartland of America. There is a lot ofgood things happening here. We have been teaching Caleb the stuff youteach new members and about like temples and stuff that you don't goall that deep into before baptism. He is absorbing and loving it all,he is definitely a solid convert. We are still teaching Amanda and Felicia. They are progressing reallywell! Felicia came to General Conference which was pretty tight. Theonly thing is they both need to get married before they can getbaptized but it'll happen. We are finding a lot of other people toteach as well! The Sister's we share the ward with here in Emporia aregoing to have a baptism this Saturday. That'll be super cool!I loved General Conference! It was way revelatory! Great talks onbeing cleansed from sin, forgiving others, watching out for Satan'stactics, temples, and this being Christ's true and living Church uponthe earth. I know those men are true prophets and apostles as Christ'sChurch has always been "built upon the foundation of the apostles andprophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone"(Ephesians 2:20).I know Christ Lives and that this is his work. I have seen his hand inthis work. Love you all, and hope you have a great week!-Elder McGee
