Hello Everyone, So, next Monday I will only have a couple days left so I don't think I'll write an email next week. But this week was good! We had several investigators at sacrament meeting yesterday. Tons of miracles this week, with people progressing towards baptism. We have this awesome Part Member Family to work with who we got to church. And Katrina is still progressing well. Eric moved to Alabama unfortunately though. We hooked him up with the missionaries out there though. I will miss this so much. I want to bare testimony that Christ suffered in Gethsemane, died on Calvary, and was resurrected three days after his crucifixion. These events happened and because of them we can be redeemed and changed. I also know that this is Christ's Church restored to the earth. I love my mission and the Lord with all I got. I love ya'll and I'm excited to see you! Love ya!-Elder McGee

Hello Everyone! So I am sorry I didn't send a weekly email last week. I was busy/forgetful last Monday. But I will attempt to write a decent email to ya'll this week. So, An update on Eric is that he came to church last week and loved it. Yesterday he couldn't come because he was sick but he is going to come again this coming week, so he is progressing well. Then since last time I emailed we started teaching this super elect lady named Katrina who was also at church last week. She is on date for baptism on the 13th of August. She is way cool! So yeah, a lot of good stuff is happening. I don't know if I have mentioned this before but this transfer one of the Elders I trained back when I was in Great Bend came to the zone. It's Elder Campbell if you remember him. He has been out like 9 months or so now which is crazy! But anyways he is companions with one of the District Leaders in the zone and we do exchanges with all the District Leader companionships, so I got to go on an exchange with my boy this last week! It was super cool to see how much he has grown. But yeah, life is good. I have been reflecting on all the many lessons I have learned throughout my mission and it just like overwhelms me with gratitude. I am eternally grateful for the last two years of my life. Being apart of this work, which is so much bigger than myself, has brought me more fulfillment and happiness than anything else has. In Moses 7 the Lord is speaking about the hastening of the work of salvation in the latter-days and he says, "...righteousness and truth will I cause to sweep the earth as with a flood, to gather out mine elect from the four quarters of the earth". To me this testifies that the Lords work WILL SUCCEED! This is prophesied success we just read. So this just says to me, do I want to be apart of it? Or do I want to watch idly by while this great work moves forward? Like I said, being apart of something so much bigger than yourself is fulfilling. Invite! That is all the Lord asks of us. I love you all and hope you have a great week. :) Love, Elder McGeezy
So, I don't know that I've mentioned this before but on my mission I have developed a talent for cutting hair. It all started around my 10 month mark or so when I got transferred to an area where a missionary purposely left behind some hair clippers that I adopted as my own. I began practicing on my companion, and then myself, and then my district members, and then zone members, and even some less actives and investigators. So, anyways now that I'm like pro, last night I took the challenge of cutting this African woman's hair who is an investigator of ours. It was awesome! Haha

Hello Everyone,We had a good week full of Milagros! We went hard finding people to progress towards baptism this week. We found some way cool people, a couple of them are named Eric which is kinda funny. But one of the Eric's we gave a tour of the church to on Saturday, so that was awesome. On Tuesday a bunch of new missionaries came in and they always have about a 2-3 hour block where they have the missionaries in close proximity take out these missionaries to work for a little while. So we got to do that, we each took one and worked super hard. It was great, it reminded me of being a trainer. I loved the times when I was training, I think the most growth in myself came during those times. But yeah, good things are happening and although time is short I know there are many more pivot points for me to have and miracles for me to see. I love my mission and the Savior with all my heart and I know baptism is an essential ordinance for salvation and a beautiful representation of New Life through the Atonement of Christ. I hope everyone has a great week!

Hola Amigos!Super Sick Week! Both us and the whole zone had a super good week! We found these really cool people to teach this week! There names are Walter and Azaria and they are boyfriend and girlfriend. But they are wanting to get married, so we are going to make that happen. We only just met them on Friday night and they came to church yesterday. It was awesome! It's cool we were able to get so much done this week because we also had a ton to do as far as prep for this MLC (Mission Leadership Council) meeting we had this week. But yeah, good things are happening! I'm super excited for this week! Love ya'll! :) -Elder McGee

Hey Family and Friends! This was a good week! I love the new Mission President, Prez McCuiston, he is way cool. He talked to our Zone for a while on Thursday and that was very spiritually uplifting. Elder Gardner is here now as well. We work really well together and we're excited for this transfer! We are definitely going to baptize together! I have recently felt a huge Sense of Urgency come upon me when I think about how much time I have left. There is no time to waste, I want nothing more than to bring as many souls unto Christ through baptism as possible. One big thing I've learned on my mission is that Fun, although not bad or something I don't love, is not an eternal principle. But what is an eternal principle is Joy, and I have never felt more pure Joy than when standing in the font with or witnessing someone I've taught and grown to love get baptized. Nothing better! "And now, if your joy will be great with one soul that you have brought unto me into the kingdom of my Father, how great will be your joy if you should bring many souls unto me!" (D&C 18:16). I love you all and hope you have a great week!

Hola Loved OnesWe had a super good week. I found out my new companion today. He is Elder Gardner. He will be coming and Elder Gunnell will be headed home this Wednesday. I'm excited to work with Elder Gardner, and Elder Gunnell will be missed for sure. Another change happening this Wednesday is that President Bell is finishing and going home as well. Prez Bell saw something in me I didn't see in myself and helped me become someone I didn't think I could become. Because he showed charity when I needed charity, he chastened when I needed to be chastened, and he always turned me to the Saviors Atonement. He has made a huge impact on me and I'm eternally grateful for him. But the new mission president is called of God and I, as well as the mission, are excited to embrace the change! The new President will be my mission president for these last two months of my mission. I'm way stoked to finish out my mission super strong and baptize like crazy as an expression of my love for God and the conversion that has taken place in myself these last two years. I love you all and hope you have a great week! Love, Elder McGeezy:)
